First of all I would like to thank you for visiting my new website.

Below is a little info about my experience..........

My name is Jodie, but many people might know me simply as Jo or DJ Jo and I live in Cairns in beautiful tropical Far North Queensland.

I have been working as a DJ for about 16 years (since 1997) & can cater for any type and size of function or event . I have also been collecting music all my life. So I now have a very diverse range and collection of music to compliment my work as a DJ and can usually obtain any songs needed if they are ever requested with enough adequate notice prior to an event.

In the past I have worked under the annexe of another Mobile Entertainment service, however now I have decided to take my interest in music entertainment to a whole new professional level and go out on my own. So now I am now offering my services under my own name DJ Jo Mobile Entertainment. I have  also started to invest more into my own Digital Audio Sound System & Lighting Show and expand on the type of mobile entertainment services I provide. Although I am now working on my own, I am still supported by other DJs, Audio/Video Suppliers & Technicians & Crew if there is ever any need for more equipment and staff to operate it at any event of any size and for any special occasion.

The diverse range of functions I cater for also incorporates themed events. I try to come in costume to suit any theme and will always give out prizes and judge competitions when required. I am also able to lead most types of dances and games especially when it comes to kids parties and school dances but I am also more than willing to get involved in MC duties etc for adult events as well. I am also the holder of a current Blue Card. So I can work with younger crowds at school events, dances & competitions that involve minors.
